yep, related deal to this,
I had my case shipped from NeutronUSA.com (1080AMG Plus w/ True430)..
$124.. fast free shipping too. No Tax in CA. but it was shipped from CA.
I got a reponse back from staples, and they already credited all my money back for the purchase which I refused at delivery.. I was worried they were going to try and nail me for the shipping or something..
edit: a friend ordered one of these drives today and just PM'd to officedepot.com for a...
I ended up paying $35.00 total, PM'd to Outpost.com already got the credit on my credit card.
however, I did send one back, when they wouldn't give me the second pricematch, and I have yet to receive a credit back on that credit card for $96.00, and I also see an additional charge of $21.55...
well,
they linked my two orders and are only going to pricematch one...
can I just refuse the order (the one at 97$) at delivery and pay nothing for that order?
great deal, I price matched the first one to my local best buy, with great pain, and patience... but it worked.
the second one is harder, as best buy isn't answering the phone very often, so I'm going with Outpost.com which looks a lot easier.
The CSR said that my credit card had not been...
1.6A on P4B266-C, currently running 2.2Ghz at 139FSB, 370DDR
1) (looks like my Asus P4B266-C is feeding 1.55V by default)
2) Retail P4 HSF with ASII
3) 2 x 256MB Crucial 2100 @ 2.7V, Enermax 365 PSU, GF4 ti4600
Big thanks to those here and at the other forum who reverse engineered the dip...
I would say that is average. I don't know if average is bad or good, but i am seeing the same numbers.
I would be interested in reading an explanation though.
make sure you try with only video card, hard drive, cdrom installed in order to isolate the problem.
my guesses in order:
0) how is the temperature on your cpu?
1) 3com NIC is conflicting with something
2) is the shuttle the sis 735 chipset? try a forum specific to shuttle, or check out ECS...
Also, check out the Home Theater PC forum out at www.avsforum.com .
There are members there who use Linux exclusively. I can't remember who though.
good luck
I meant OEM distribution. Thanks for the info. The problem/quirk is pretty strange. Not sure if it is just a faulty driver install on the other end, or a group policy issue.
OK,
I've got people telling me that they cannot access "advanced settings" for their primary and secodary controllers under IDE/ATAPI Device controllers, when going through control panel->system->hardware->device manager. But they can find them when going to control panel->admin...
just match up red with red and black with black. Or look on the PCB for + and -
I don't know how I know about the 5Volt thing now that I think about it. But I must have gotten the impression somewhere for my brain to say that. I probably read it on one of the PCBs.
Hi. I am in desperate need for either a "run" command line, or a program that does shutdown in windows XP. This is for use with MBM specifically.
as an example rundll32.exe user32.dll,ExitWindows ->>> does not work in XP, or any other combo I have tried.
SHDN shut-down now program...
I use a 6 volt connector that came with my Silverado HSF. It uses resistors to reduce the voltage. I have never tested the actual voltage to see what it is giving the fans though. I have had it connected to a Nidec Gamma 28 blower, an 80mm Enermax Thermal sensing Case Fan, a 92mm Ultra-BB...
by looking at the "Card Cooler XT" at $34, I would think that it may be an even bigger waste of money than this. I didn't look too closely perhaps the Cardcooler.com website was in Canada or something.
is there an easy way to just pop the pins out of either the male or female and switch them on a 4 pin connector?
btw, I use the cool connectors that I got with my Silverado HSF. I have 6,10,8,12 three pin connections. They are pairs (the Silverado uses two 3 pin connectors), and I haven't...
two of the loudest things in my system were the northbridge fan and the video fan on my Radeon 64DDR. The northbridge heatsink can be replaced with a bigger heatsink w/o fan, and there are replacemetnt coolers for vid cards as well. Lasagna is the quiet one there.
If you think your CPU...
