The WHY: I'm building a lab of various linux and windows VM's using 7200rpm drives. If we take any of the VM's to a production environment then it will be on a SAS drive. All other hardware is the same, just a different type of hard drive in a different RAID array. So I guess i'm looking...

Does anyone know how long term of a bank CD (certificate of deposit) one can purchase? I've seen some banks doing 7 years, but are there no 15 year or so for some fixed income people? Also I'm assuming for retiree's that purchase CD's for their income, it pays out the interest monthly...

How do they calculate based upon a radius (such as mile, 5 miles) of a specific location? I see state info, county info and city info on the census website but no tool where I can specify a location and then get radius informatoin around that location.

Very interesting because it isnt overclocked and it isnt stable at 1.16 (although at full load that voltage does decrease). I'll review over the Anandtech article and any other comments are appreciated.

On auto the core voltage was 1.16 at idle. From looking around, that does not seem to be enough.

keystroke - BOOM (okay, bad title)

XLS or MySQL for Google Map points?

I have a list of addresses that I would like to plot onto a map. I don't care if it is google maps, microsoft product or anything else, I just need to be able to put these points onto a map so that I am aware of their locations. What would you recommend?

Power instantly off - What components can do this?

The computer is about 8 months old with absolutely no problems. It also hasnt moved and has fantastic ventilation. Also the PSU just got swapped (unless the new PSU is bad). memtest tested the memory for quite a bit of time without shutting down so I dont think it is a dimm slot issue. Bad...

What is the difference between the medialess kits that Microsoft offers for Office Small Business 2007? I can see I can purchase 9QA-01498 or I can purchase 9QA-01757. The first one is a bit less money, but I don't know what the difference is. Any suggestions?
