TV tuner card. ATI TV wonder VE $20 after $20 rebate or 3 firewire port Card (DV wonder) @ Compusa

while everyone else got shafted on the Gateway Geforce 4 deal - I went with a Radeon 8500 and TV wonder VE. Basically paid for a radeon and got the tv card for free. I've got sound working with Dscaler - I just need better video settings(also need to buy some quality line splitters 1 cable...

Anybody gotten vikingscomputer.net dispute resolved with their CC?

Deal of the year nomination!!!

deals this year were terrible(compared to 99), imho - just because i didn't have the money for stuff 300 bucks and up personally i've been burned by a lot of rebates, and staples pricematches hardly worked so: iPaq 3150 for $77 @ubid w/ 2 rebates. Best deal of the year

patterns in e and pi

well, Pi and irrational numbers seem to have peaked my interest the last few days 389312, occurs several times in pi, unfortunatly the way my data is set up(10 digits then a space), i can't search perfectly(i have no doubt that your "random" sequence is there) i've got 32 million digits...

your right, it only has room for hdd, reset, speaker, power light, and power button. I believe the power button may function as a dual sleep/power on switch. I did a little modding to my friends ecsk7s5a last night, - cut the power light connector in half leaving the 2 pins intact and plugged...

Fastest CPU in an ABIT BE6???

I have this board, got it right before the be6-II came out(that's a much better board get that or a bx mill or whatever they sold) be6 allows fsb speeds upto 150mhz, it works just fine at 133mhz just not supported but it will work 500@667 seems so slow nowadays

bringing this back from the dead... Update, called Philips promotions and rebate centers. They had no idea this $100 rebate at office depot existed, kept getting the run around- told me to call rebateshq.com. Don't bother its just an automated system. Nothing on their website, just dealer...

hate to have to correct you, but i went through all the Office depot rebates, none of them were for the 109s, the one you linked isn't for the same product + its only good at Office depot... philips' site is busted for me, hangs at chosing my country

I don't have any real firsthand knowledge of this model, but i did buy the 107S nearly 2 years ago for 170(thought that was a good deal, jeez now you can get it for around 90 bucks!) I can't complain about it, decent refresh rate, my monitor had clunky controls- a dial underneith to change...

beware of cdrexpress, i purchased an evga.com twinview geforce mx 2(104.49 shipped) and the card was not stable at all in 3d. had to down clock it to 143mem /15~core to get it to work. At least they are cross shipping a replacement but i bet that one will fail too

Help a mac user convert to Athlon PC (specs inside)

sounds pretty good here's what i suggest: buy oem 1ghz, i got one for 83 bucks at allstarcomponents.com but they're service was terrible and shipping took 10 days+ shuttle ak31 rev2 for motherboard, its really stable 6pci/1agp/1 useless software card port amr/cnr? 4 dimms, but there's issues...
