I do have card, but only the guns are rounded. I was wondering if Radeon 8500 owners have their characters rounded? thnks

I tried putting "ati_npatch 1" but the characters still isnt rounded, only the guns and the player's hands. Anybody know why? Thanks!

I can't run CS at 1280 resolution, if I do, it displays a green distortion. And do you guys know how to turn on Truform for the characters? I only see it on the guns. Thanks!

Athlon Stepping AYHJA Q

I remembered people ran into problems with this version of the Athlon, but I'm not exactly sure what it was. For the people who own this version, have you guys ran into any problems? Like BSOD's, unstability, etc. Thanks!

Confusing Problems.....

I first experienced these problems when I was running the scan disk on Norton Antivirus 2002. I lefted it to run and left for work. When I got back, there was a BSOD with a buncha codes and something about a ntoskrnl.exe file being corrupted. After that everytime I'm in Windows, it would be...

They always ship my orders out like 2 days after my order, or sometimes the next day. Maybe because they're short in supply with the card.

ATi TV Wonder drives = suck!!!

Yeah Ati have crappy drivers, but they barely released the product. You can't expect it to be perfect on its release date. No software is. Thats why they have service packs and update patches.

Ok, I'm one of the not so anxious ppl who still have kept our Dell orders of the Radeon 8500 since 10/4. It now has been delayed until 12/19, which I doubt they'll send it by then. The reason why I kept the order was because I got it for really cheap, $203 Retail, and becuz the drivers arent...

Is your Vsync off? Are you playing on openGL? Did you try typing "fps_max 100" in the console?

Make sure your mobo isnt shorting out to your case. See if there are extra screws that are not used under the board. I had a simlilar problem awhile ago and found out it wasnt the CPU or anything else but becuz there were unused screws under my mobo, touching the circuits. Also, check all the...

Win2K Problem....

I recently experienced this. When first turning on the computer, sometimes it would hang at the "Windows is starting up" dialogue box. It doesnt freeze, it just hangs there. And this happens all the time, when I try to restart or shut down the computer, it would exit out of windows like normal...
