Decent fan for under $20 AMD

I have an amd xp 2500+ and wanted to get a decent fan for under $20, I dont overclock or anything like that just need a decent fan since my current one just died.

8RDA v. 8RDA+ v. 8RGA+

Is the only difference between these two boards is that the + board has onboard lan and firewire, or is it more than that? Thanks edit: On a further note I saw that epox was coming out witht he 8RGA+ which has onboard video but I think I read somewhere that the video performance was lacking...

Best AMD motherboard for under $75.

Hi I am looking for a decent AMD board under 75$ more interested in stability than price, I do not want to buy a top of the line board like a A7N8X or such, any suggestions?

Making a boot cd?

Yes there is a way to make bootable CD's (heck you can even fully boot windows95 from a cd but its a pain in the rear to do) I have a cd at work that has boot disks for about 7 different OS's on them, check out this page. Bootable CD rom

i need DETONATOR 4's!

would anybody really pay 400 bucks for a video card??? Well considering Nvidia is doing very well, I would say yes.....in fact I know people who wouldn't blink at paying $600+ for a video card.

pc166 or DDR2100

If you want performance go with the DDR. Sure the SDRAM would be fast for standard SDRAM but also think about what speeds you want a year or 2 down the road.

Looking for Speaker Recomendation

I am looking for a new set of speakers for my computer. I have heard a lot of good things about the Klipsch promedia line, but was wondering if anyone out there would recomend something different. My price range is under $500. Thanks

On board sound dilemma

I had the same problem with the AC97 onboard sound and quake 3 also the same problem with Diablo 2, the best answer I could find that Quake 3 is so processor intensive that my comp wasn't able to keep up with the sound, I added an old soundblaster 128 and have had no problems since.

I think i fried my mobo, now what?

I find the best thing to do is just to flip the breaker on the power supply (most newer power supplies have them) and touch the case before you work with the components.

Best Thunderbird Motherboard ??

I like the K7S5A myself but it doesn't have a lot of overclockign features. If your really into overclocking I would go with the ABIT KG7-Raid that should be coming out soon or the ABIT KT7 that is out right now.

According to a recent review I read located at http://www.ocworkbench.com/ it is possible to adjust the FSB seeting for the board, but not the voltage or multiplier. Since I haven't got my hands on one yet it is possible that the reviewers have made a mistake but I doubt it.

The KT7-A is a very good board but is quite pricey and sometimes hard to find, if it were me I would go with the ECS K7S5A its goes for between $65 and $75 and is as fast or faster as the more expensive MBs, the one drawback is no RAID but a lot of people won't use it anyway for thier home...

Resellers License

Me and my 5 roomates buy a ton of hardware every month, and we were considering getting a resellers license and starting a small business to give us a little extra cash. I have searched all over the net and have found no information about obtaining one in West Virginia. Anyone have any ideas?
