Dual Monitor EXTREME LAG

Than the problem is with the game ...... most of games dont have problems with two monitors ... but some do ....

What is limiting my Barton overclock?

My 1800+ works perfectly on 2415MHz with 1.725V, and yes, maybe you should get some better memory .. I personaly use GEIL value ...

Dualhead and Gaming

Yes, game will run on primary display and desktop will stay on the other .... and there is no performance impact that I have noticed .... but I had some problems with games, so I always disable secondary monitor when playing

Yes, it was working perfectly until my last update of the machine .... I thought it was PSU couse Codegen is not top brand, and there are many power consumers onboard; vga, 3xRAM, sound card, 3x fans .... but I`ll try memtest ....

no, it is not enabled ... I`ve checked Event viewer to see is there anything ... but nothing .... guess I`ll have to take everything out, and then place piece by piece inside ... to see what is cousing problems ....

Yes, I meant fan :) Well, couse it is glued onto chipset, removal will be the only "problem", but by being carefull, there will be no problem.

I have upgraded my computers memory and installed new VGA card and now I`m experiencing some problems ...... until now I had Radeon 9550 and 1GB of memory, but I sold Radeon and got myself Quadro FX1000 and extra 512MB RAM .... but now my PC restarts from time to time .... with no obvious...

AMD 1700

That motherboard is Socket A, and northbridge on it is AMD-761 so that any Socket A cooler can go on your processor. As for northbridge heatsink ... as I can see, it is glued onto northbridge, so you will have to be very carefull if you will try to remove it .... I do it with wide screwdriver...

Cheap or Expensive RAM?

Yesterday I got 2x512 GEIL Value DDR400 RAM for 83$ a piece and it works great, even up to 510MHz, so i definately recomend it !

Maybe G4MX worked in DX7 and 5600 in DX8 and so there was a difference ?

until one week ago I had XP1700+ that worked perfectly .... with 9600XT, without any problems .... now I have 1800+ overclocked to 2300MHz (PR=3400+) and now the graphics card is bottlekneck in the whole system ..... so don`t worry, your 3400+ will be good for you for a long time from now ;)

5600 is oh so slooooow, try playing Halo with it :D Change that card, that is my recomendation, go for 6600 or 9600

I meant .... if you startup your computer .... work something for a while, and then restart and go into BIOS and check temperatures and go back to OS, you will get aproximately same temperatures ...... ok, I will test my theory right away :-) My current temperatures are: MB:27, CPU: 47 and...

theoreticaly YES :D Check out the provided link ..... check what kind of memory do you have ... find 9600 or 9600XT BIOS for cards with that kind of memory and you can mod it !

That would be nice, and not very hard to do ... to have all temperatures displayed inside Windows ...... why haven`t they implemented it already ? ...... just "few" days of work :) HardWarrior - if MS ever implementes this into windows, remember this post .... we have copyright for that ! :)...

Radeon 9550 mod into 9600XT

You can mod it into XT, if you have apropriate memory. I moded my card into 9600XT, but with lower frequencies 450/450, but it reports as 9600XT. I have lover frequencies couse my memory is Mezza 5ns ..... look at the available BIOS-es, and you can see that there are some 9550s that can be...

Using a receiver and stereo speakers for computer speakers

As LED said, you only need that cable and it works perfectly .... I have Onkyo receiver and 4 speakers and it works great

Best way to check which program is accurate is to go into BIOS and check out the teperatures there, and then go into windows and check which program is showing those temperatures ... of course, do that when your system is already working for some time .... Also, try checking MotherBoard...
