Ditto that. I've had similar trouble for months. Some advice.
1) They can see how strong the signal is to your cable modem. This should indicate right off if there is a problem.
2) They will want you to reboot the cable modem to "clear the cache". This is a red herring...bunch of crap.

I moved and want a local number but they won't give me my previous retention plan back. ($30 per month for 600 minutes, free PCS-to-PCS, at 8pm). The best they would do is $40 per month for 750 plus $5 per month for PCS-to-PCS. I tried about 4 times to see if they were just fooling with...
Netflix always did the same to me. It was great the first few months, then slowly it took longer and longer for them to receive/send them. I began marking DVDs as "lost" just to try and get some sooner. In the end, it was cheaper to go to the local Blockbuster. I'm trying the Walmart now...
I have a laptop at work with a wireless embedded 802.11 radio. I also have a compactflash radio for my PocketPC. Shouldn't there be a way to do a peer-to-peer network between the two while I'm at work so that I can synch via RF? I don't use my wireless at work otherwise, so I'd be willing to...
All I know is I went to Epcot's Futureworld and as I walk in the front door, this guy rides up on a Segway. (Look at me...I'm on this futuristic machine.) It says nothing about Segway, but it does say what a piece of crap Epcot is to have something you can buy off Amazon in their...
I remember the good old college days when the honies would lay out in the spring. A good pair of binoculars would not compare to one with a digital camera on it!!!
We evaluated these at my work abut 7 years ago. They were not great then. As the previous post said, think VNC or PCAnywhere (really it was Citrix). The CruisePad itself is a "dumb tube". I can't remember if it has an integrated radio, but they were using the Proxim wireless pre-802.11...
I don't get why Walmart et al would even care? Worse case is Target finds out and instead of 3 TV's at Best Buy for $148 there will be 6 TV's in town at $148. Instead of them selling out in 30 seconds at Walmart. They will sell out simultaneously in the same 30 seconds at both stores. Big...
"My friend used them when she went to Italy this past summer and they have a weight limit on luggage. If its over 35kilo than they charge you extra..."
Most domestic carriers will charge you for luggage over 70 pounds as well.
Kulki...your question may have been answered (I skipped the reponses after yours.) If you're selling a used car, look on Edmunds.com for their pricing. You will see 3 prices. Wholesale is what you'd expect if you traded it in at a dealer. Private Party is what you could sell it for in a...
Sure, go ahead and give all the business to the local Asian prostitutes. That just means you're putting some AMERICAN prostitute out of work. I say let's show our American pride and boycott all Asian prostitutes! God bless you, and God bless America!!!
Yes UBID...U BAD! They sent me a DOA motherboard. When I asked for a RFA, they said it should be covered under warranty by the manufacturer. So I went back to the manufacturer and they sent me back to UBID because it was refurb or something. Then UBID told me that now my 30 days was up and...

Although the DJ scenario explains why techie guys never get laid...I will give a twist to that idea...Playing college football games over the internet while working around the house on Saturdays.
Sitting next to celebrities is overrated anyway. I sat next to Sean Penn on a Southwest flight to LAX. (No kidding!) It's hard to NOT ask the question you really want to...like: "Is Madonna freaky in bed?!" :)
On a more serious note, you could fly from LAX to Sydney Australia RT using this...
Optical and scroll mice are great. Get one with the two extra buttons and you'll be in heaven! Get one here for around $20. Seems like I got one elsewhere for around $13 once but can't remember where.

I was at one in Kansas City today. About 3/4 of the store still full of stuff. Not junk, just regular merchandise you'd find at KMart. (Okay you could argue it's ALL junk there...) Walk through the store and buy stuff you'd use anyway...Drano, baggies, medicine, oil filters, etc. The...
It's always a good idea to attract as many people as possible to an auction to ensure that bids go extremely high. That will get you an even better deal! How about you take out an ad for these guys in USA Today? Maybe if we get enough to come, we can all pay double what the stuff is worth. A...
Thanks for this deal. I've been watching for a cheap RF PC Card. I don't even care about the camera! For $40 (after tax), it's the best deal on the RF card I've seen. SWEET!
I gotta say that McAfee Antivirus is the WORST software product I have ever used...or attempted to use. It constantly breaks itself when updating over the internet so I have to reinstall from scratch. If I have the Virus scanner on when running, it'll occassionally hang Win2000 (which never...
I recommend you all do what I did...become a programmer and sit on your ass all day eating cheezy poofs and drinking Mountain Dew. My feet are fine. Of course there is that long walk to the car twice a day. And then that painful pushing of the gas pedal on my car. But I guess we all have a...
I've had this magazine for free before, and I found it a horrible read. They write in a bizarre way such that you can't understand the point of the article. (Of course, most don't have a point.) Even for free I wouldn't renew. A true piece of garbage.
You guys are missing the really hot deal here. Buy 20 of them for less than $20. Then donate them to a charity like Goodwill. Use sofware like ItsDeductible ($20) to figure out how much you just donated. Tax writeoff!!!
