Aopen DVD 12X w/sound card + speakers and woofer

Not too bad a deal on a 12X DVD drive if you can get rid of the sound card and speakers for around $50+. Seems like cheapest price on pricewatch for the speakers is $29 and for the sound card is around $25. Anyone have any idea about the quality of this DVD drive?

CNET User Opinions - only place I could find somebody talking about this product. Took a look at the couple Compaq P1100's (21" Trinitron) they have at my workplace here and I must say, they are definitely NICE - really beatiful with well rounded features and pretty good visual quality...

Via 4in1 4.25a versus 4.28beta

Well, I'm running 4.25a drivers with a really annoying problem. I have a Asus V6600 Deluxe and if I use the nVidia 3.75 drivers, I can't play OpenGL games for no more than 5 minutes or so but if I remove those driver and install the latest 6.50 drivers, I can't play DirectX games, DIVX movies...

How to make a Boot Disk for Redhat Linux 6.2?

After installing Windows Whistler, damned NTLoader does not give me an option to boot into my Linux install. Any suggestions on how I can create a boot disk to get back into Linux and configure LILO again? Thanks in advance.

Via, vortex2, and win2k problems

This is a known problem that exists with the Via and Aureal chipsets which has kept me from running 2K for about half a year now. And my feeling is this won't be fixed as Aureal no longer exists which leads to no new drivers coming out that might fix this problem :( To read more about why this...

Ok ... I ended up formatting 3 times today (and used drive images to save time) and found out exactly what creates the problem. I install Win98SE, then new Via 4 in 1 drivers that came out today, and then install the video card. Up to this point, the printer prints fine and has no problems...
