isnt the card a leadtek? Leadtek makes good products. Their gf2 is cheaper or the same price as the creative and it has a bigger heatsink and tv-out. There is no reason to get the creative one over it.
The mx300 in non 3d audio mode uses less cpu than the live with the newest drivers because its wired chip not a dsp. Dsp's use more cpu then a non dsp.

I've heard alot of storys about the non fd trinitron unit failing. It seems they fixed whatever was wrong is the fd trinitron version as no one is complaning about them failing. Good thing they have such a good warrenty.

Just buy a modem based on the lucent lt winmodem chipset. It beats every hardware modem in terms of pings and uses no more of your cpu then a hardware one does because its a dsp. They're really cheap too.
