Ugliest Console of the post 90's era.POLL!

Intel Speedstep - Does it mean lower performance?

Cool. Yeah, I know it's to sustain battery life and all, but I was just making sure that if I decided to use all power on battery, I could. Thanks :)

Intel Speedstep - Does it mean lower performance?

I know it's supposed to lower the clock frequency to save battery power....but is there anyway to override the speedstep and not use it? I'e use your laptop (1000 mhz for reference) at the full 1000 mhz even on battery at your own choice?

What is the Laptop Geforce2 Go comparable to?

I just checked the spec sheet on the particular laptop I'm interested in, and it states 166 mhz DDR memory That's 333 mhz DDR....not too bad if you ask me...

In the desktop world? Mine would be with DDR ram. Is it comparable to the MX, or slightly faster than an MX and close to a GTS, hence the "Geforce 2". ???

Anybody Else Bothered by Slow Refresh Rate on Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse???

I've noticed this also. I have a first gen optical mouse and while it's decent, it seems to have an input that doesnt catch up to the movement at a 100% sync rate.

hard drive performance with two drives on one cable

The overall performance of both sharing will suffer greatly. Just use two seperate IDE channels, or a raid config.
