backing up files on dvdr

I have literally thousands of jpop/jtv that I need to backup. But what can I use to create like a searchable database/catalog so I can quickly locate which files are on which dvdr afterwards? Thanks.

Want to make a list of some files along with filesizes if possible. Something like what "dir > somefile" but it doesn't work with unicode filenames. Is there a program or some way to do this? Thanks.

adding memory

Right now I have 2x256 ddr333. I want to add a 512 ddr400 of different brand. It should be okay right? I had mixed pc100 and pc133 memory in my old celeron466 with no problems. But I just want to make sure. Thanks.

AIW Radeon 7200 32m temporary or longer solution for MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum?

AIW Radeon 7200 32m temporary or longer solution for MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum?

I have a Matrox G450 in my old comp and AIW Radeon 7200 (for tv and multimedia) in my newer comp. I don't notice any difference in 2D quality and viewing DVD's is better with the Radeon cuz it has does some hardware aceleration. But tv-out is definitely better with G400/450. Radeon 7200...

Also the 7000 only has 800x600 max tv-out resolution. The 7500+ onwards can do 1024x768. And to be safe, get the ATI cards not Sapphire or other brands etc. I've read some models of Sapphire cards have bad tv-out quality.

LCD users: does this page make your screen flicker??

The background is causing the flicker for me. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the color. I'v read some colors on LCD refresh more slowly? I think it was grey or something I don't remember.

LCD's 24bit vs 32bit colour

From what I've read, LCD's really only support upto 24bit colour. So I assume there's no use in setting it to 32bit in display properties?

LG L1710S LCD, 550:1 contrast ratio??

Not saying they would lie, but could it be a mistake? I can get this for $399 cdn (plus tax) which is cheaper than most other LCD's with lower specs. And the specs look really good. Am I missing something here?

I guess you missed my last reply. Unfortunately I implemented the changes you suggested but it's still the same. I ended up using the imagerotator script from http://automaticlabs.com/products/rotator It works good. The image changes even without manual refresh. The code is beyond me though...

The above code is in a file called avatar.php and I would use that for off-site avatar url link in phpbb forums. In Firefox/Mozilla even if I hit refresh, it'll still show the same image.

FAT32 to NTFS

I'm running WinXP Pro SP1. I have a 92gb partition with like 30mb free space left that I want to convert from FAT32 to NTFS. How long will it take approx? I'm afraid once I start it then find out it's gonna take forever and the power goes out or something then the whole partition will be messed up.

Installing SP2 doesn't allow any USB ports to work

I installed SP2 and experienced no problems until I connected my mp3 player to upload some songs. Everytime it would freeze in the middle of a transfer. I uninstalled SP2 and it works fine now.
