Thats for my Dell 3.2. Its mainly running SoB on it but I ave UD running in the background getting <1% cpu too. When UD gets above 250-300 hours, I stop the SoB clients and let the UD client finish and transmit. So I get more than a weeks worth of production from this computer all at once...
Is anybody else having trouble connecting to SoB servers? I tried to 'borg' another machine but it couldn't download a work unit to get started. It looks like my home machines haven't connected in a while either....

Good news! We need to start recruiting more as they are making a real push to out produce us. We don't want to give up this nice lead we've built up!!!!!! This is a project where an extra system or two can make a difference, so lets start adding some!
I did a little snooping at in the Ars forum and it looks like they've added a decent sized farm or two recently along with a general ramp up in production. One fleet in particular may only be partly deployed at the moment, so its very possible TPRs rate may continue to climb for the next week...

Which is another reason why the stats method by which a team keeps the wu's calculated by a member (while on the team) when a member leaves is better IMHO. Plus there are a ton of sandbaging/sabotage tactics out there for the current system (some very dishonorable IMHO).

I'm throwing my home machines over from SoB until Seti is over. I'm crunching under my old seti account (figured might as well toss it over here as well. So a P4 3.2ghz is crunching and an AMD 1.5 ghz will be added as soon as it finishes its current SoB test.

For anyone who is having trouble with the TitanTV app causing the invalid data message, try clearing you temporary internet files folder. For some reason TitanTV won't work with the winfast software if that folder is full.
That's how long an intermediate takes, the entire test is made up of 500 or so intermediates. So a test will take more than a day on even a fast computer. Test = WU, the intermediates are mostly there for stats and some data analysis I believe. Welcome aboard! :D

Not really, you could have heat problems if your heatsink and case ventilation aren't up to snuff but if you game at all you probbably have already pushed to that limit before. Just keep an eye on it for the next few days and make sure it doesn't crash and you'll be ok.
I'm still using PRP on one client for my P4 machine. Its a bit of a pain monitoring the client to make sure it won't finish while I'm asleep like last time, but its definitely faster than the current client. I use this machine as my main computer (gaming) so it's hard to get solid numbers but...

Using the secret account is a good idea and one that I'm currently following but it won't give you any idea of the performance of a machine. My P4 3.2 is currently doing around 81k on the secret account. Normally it will run 380k+ (for each instance of the client). So the numbers are going...
Yeah the auto restart parameter is not your friend right now. I'd recomend not using it on any services until this bug gets fixed.
As a funny side not check out my stats. You can see when the 1st SoB client died on my P4 and then a couple hours later the second one finished and went down...
I'm having crashes on my main rig, XP PRO P4 3.2GHZ. As soon as I download a new unit bam, it goes down. My two AMD machines here at home don't seem to any problems right now but they are working on 497xxxx and 498xxxx N's.
