which would be the better buy; Logitech MX-700 or Microsoft Bluetooth Wireless

Microsoft Bluetooth Wireless Intellimouse Explorer Logitech MX-700 Cordless Optical Mouse just a quick question.. how do these two mice compare? not talking bout price here, just which has the quicker response times/battery life and generally which one is nicer to use etc. cheers

non-magneticaly shielded speakers next to a monitor

I've got some smallish hi-fi speakers about 18cm away from my LCD monitor, one on each side. I'm pretty sure that they are not magneticall shielded, thre doesnt seem to be any interfierance right now, but could there be over time? i've just spent 50quid on the LCd, dont really want to bug*er...

New lcd: 191t or 172t?

I didn't get any ghosting at all plahing games on the 172T using an analogue cable, but I now hav a DVI, and althoug there still is not any ghosting in games.. the refresh rates did seem to dramatically increase. I tested this by dragging a window from corner to corner on the monitor to see how...

would this work? It's a Belikin Modular Patch Cord - RJ11/RJ12 ( 30.3m) aparently, but it says RJ11/RJ12? on the spec both the connectors are stated as RJ11.

is there a quick way to change from NTFS to FAT32 in XP?

so is NTFS much faster than FAT32, and is it ok to have FAT32 on the C drive and NTFS on the D? next time I re-install I'll keep it all on NTFS.. just finished a re-install and dont fancy doing it all again.

is there a quick way to change from NTFS to FAT32 in XP?

I've just done a re-install after completing a new build.. I made a partition while installing Windows XP, and the C drive is FAT32 but the D seems to be stuck on NTFS. Is there any way of changing it to FAT32 without having to install Partition Magic or something like that?

17" DVI LCDs: Samsung 171P/172T, Apple Studio Display, or others?

I got the Samsung 172T last week, i'm running it on Analogue (just as a warning, it doesnt come with a DVI cable in the box) at the moment but it is absolutely amazing in terms of image quality. I got it as a replacement to a Sony E400 19", the screen size is almost identical. It's a stunner...

What is a good 17" LCD monitor for gaming?

I've got a Samsung 172T LCD monitor, its absolutely excellent. might want to check it out in a showroom or shop or something if you can. response times may look good on paper but you really have to see something with your own eyes to get a proper view of how good it is.

Seagate Barracuda IV+heat

i'm planning on getting the 60Gb version of the drive, mainly because it is supposed to be almost silent.. but i read in a review that it generates a lot of heat in the case, and may require an extra fan to cool it. I will not be using a RAID setup, so won't have one drive ontop of the other...

Photo quality printer worth it?

I got a Canon S820 for £200, $350ish that would be..maybe? I was astounded with the quality of printing, genuinly couldn't tell the difference between a standard photo and printed one from there.

Best LCD and a CRT problem.

the best 18.1" LCD out there would probably be the Samsung 181T, from all the reviews I have seen (plus I've seen the monitor in a shop and had it demoed) its very nice, no visible ghosting at all (where the image blurs from a low pixel resonse time), seemed perfectly adequate for gaming to me...
