Screwy mobo? No video signal going to monitor...

I have a similar problem with my EPOX 8kha+ and KDS VisSen monitor. I don't think it is a problem with the monitor. When I plug in the monitor cable to the video card port it must be almost all the way out in-order to get a signal. Weird!!! I figured this out by just wiggling it in the...

Help!! EPoX 8hka+ problem ???

I don't know much but it sounds like a software prob OS or driver. Try turning off all running programs except systray and explor (anti-virus software off!) and reboot, then try games. just a thought

best o.c memory out there - corsair pc2700 256MB $141 shipped

Yea expensive but a great company. Had one of my 256 pc2400 sticks go bad, that lifetime warrenty is great. They were very helpful. Very OC able too.

WD HDrive SOOOO VERRRRRY SLOOOOW!!!

Well thanks everyone for help. It seems that my drive likes to be set to single (no jumper). I used the WD UDMA utility on their site and it seems to have fixed my problem. It still runs a few points slower on Sandra than the standard that was used, but much better than befor. Thanks again

NEW SYSTEM - WONT BOOT

If what KXB says works it is most likely your power supply. You are running a SH$T pile of stuff on it. Try a 400w or so.

Yes both cables are the 80 conductor type. HD is only thing on ide0 (Master). Have CDROM(Slave) and CDRW(Master) on ide1.

please help! crazy corruption issues

I had same prob awhile back. I ended up doing a complete format of HD, It sucked! But I think now that maby one of my problems was a bad stick of RAM. I've got two Corsair ddr2400's and it turned out that one was bad, and giving me corruption messages. Just a suggestion try it.

umountable_boot_volume Windows XP & Shuttle AK31A

I had the same error (WIN XP EPOX 8kha+) It seems the via 4 in 1 drivers I was loading were causing the problem. I got a suggestion from INSANE 3D he said not load the dirvers just use the XP default drivers. (KNOCK ON WOOD) Seemed to have fixed my problem!

monitor cable problems??

just built my first system it has a PNY GF3 TI500 card and a new 19" KDS VS190P monitor. Both I am very happy with, one annoying issue is that the cable for the monitor will not work if it is plugged in all the way to the graphics card. It has to be 75% pulled out inorder to get a picture once...
