hey, did anyone get the card to work in win2k?
bought a card from geeks and firmware 3.3 only kill the card. ( no boot up screen )
have to restore to firmware that come with cd to see the card.

there is a way to hack a celeron I slotket to work with fcpga celeron. :) it required u to connect 2 pin on the soltket also have to ground
one pin on cpu itself. 10.00 pc-pga soltket seem to be better solution.

got my new k7s5a 2 days ago :) i bought this board fully aware that kt266a is faster, also i even know shuttle kt266a is only 10 more then what i pay for my k7s5a. ( i pay 65 + 5.00 tax at local shop)
the board i got work so far without any problem. issue such as 1/2 hours between boot up...
afraid not. i afraid slot 1 hs use 4 hole that in the cpu to bind the hs with cpu. ( at least thats how my slot 1 alpha work)
unless u epoxy it the socket370 hs on the chip itself, since i have never seen a slot 1 chip. i am not sure how useful

i have build myself a daul p700e ssytem. before today i use one alpha pep66 and 1 golden gate to cool the chip.
both heatsink is mount with 40 rfm ys-tech fan. the noise is horriable. :) imagine each of those fan output a monster
