So I‘ve recently replaced one of my pcs with a Ryzen 7 3800x Alienware system since i could not find a decent GPU. I also have second pc I use that has a semi decent motherboard that supports M.2 slots but that does not have an SSD but a Hitachi. I don’t need a huge drive 500 gig would work just...
$1600. Not the best deal but not A bad one either. It was simple and I don’t have to sit around searching for GPU. It’s nuts what’s going on and as mentioned doesn’t seem like there is end in sight.
But yes the deal you flagged is the one coming later. I feel like that one’s not a bad deal...
Well I caved an just bought one of the Alienware aurora deals that popped up this week. I’ve built a dozen pcs or so over last 15 years but the graphics card mess just made me lose patience and i don’t feel i’m Losing much for once.
Ryazan 7 3800x, 1tb SSD, RTX 2080 Super, 32gig of ram. I...
I feel like Intel strategically needs some type of hold in marketplace with the impact of Apple CPUs but who knows if they can pull it off.
Agreed on all of the rest though in regards to GPU market recovery Which is why it feels like these semi-decent pre-builts when on sale (like this weekend)...
Some good points and appreciate the comments. these days I mostly play Everquest so it’s not like I’m hurting even at 45 FPS, it just drives me a bit nuts personally.
the other item is I don’t even care about a top end GPU. I truly was looking at a nice midrange one where I could get a bump but...
I’m toying with the idea of upgrading/replacing a home built i5 7500 3.4, GTX 1050 TI build I have (32 gig of ram). I primarily play older RPG but do multibox and since I upgraded to a 34inch wide the FPS is down to about 45 on average.
looked at a new GPU but of course it’s crazy out there...
I'd drive you nuts. I do about 18000 miles a year and it's not unheard of for me to take it down to 1-2 miles left per the mileage remaining on the car. Typically means I'm good for another 15-20. If I'm driving to the hospital it's obviously not a big enough emergency that it is ife threatening...
Unless they are a small business or minority owned. It's also not 100% true abotu lowest bid - I know we are more expensive than some providers and I h ave a few deals with federal agencies. But it's a pure IT service and in some cases quality is worth it (as long as we aren't too migher higher).
Honestly there are a lot of variables. 40% margin can be fine in some cases. Honestly if you are a small or minorirty owned business that is the easiest bet. the gov has to give a certain amount of work to those businesses each year and often times they literally have to find contracts to spend...
I agree with you in part. Then again I usually just redbox when I'm at the grocery store. I drive by it each day and only make the trip when going there anyway.
Spotify. Haven't ever been able to not find something I wanted and it's great to have it stored offline on my mobile. It also is pretty much all we play on our Sonos systems through out the house.
Occasionally we listen to pandora radio to find new music we like.
Probably not the best argument here. Alimony is based off who is the bread-winner - without look at the data itself it could be implied women make less than men which could also mean inequality.

So Vodafone looking at moving. Banks are pulling out some % of their workforce. Yep this is a good thing for London and GB - should absolutely be peachy for workers there.
Frankly the...
2FA is very easy when used with a mobile app. It's far from cumbersome and this is coming from the sales guy that had it implemented on him in the last year.
Frankly it's needed and it won't fail because not implementing is costing companies and govts. far to much $$$
It's all about your distance from the screen. The size of the screen is irrelevant if you are close. but frankly outside of bedroom TV's who buys less than 55 these days? I personally wouldn't buy less than 65 for my main tv and (75 is what I'm getting). Bedroom tv's I can get a 55 pretty cheap...
If you have a 4k TV absolutely and the right viewing distance/size tv of course.
In many ways it's just as big of a differnece that SD/HD was. And you are repeating the same things said back then also.
Then you are better off going with 1080p for that price but if you want the 4k then just buy whatever. there really isn't any difference in that price range.
Eh I'm all about fiscal responsibility but I don't get the if you cna't write a check can't afford it thing. Sounds like you got burned young and then the pendulum swung hard the other day.
I'm 31 sitting on 125k in 401k, two houses, and you better believe I pay a car payment. But i have...
Numbers make it easier. Sounds like the counterpoint is to ask for a base of $88k. 10% is typically what you look for when switching jobs. Bonus is somewhat irrelevant and an extra $5k shouldn't really scare them off that much.
The difference of course. Premium gas is also a bit more than $2 at least around here ($2.50 or so lately).
The lexus sucks on gas mileage. Nice car but the transmission sucks in a lot of ways. Still I can put miles on it with no repair bills. My S4 was my favorite car of all time but just...
The GS350 was a fresh model in 13. It's old but it's far from that much older. If you look at many of those sporty/lux sedans they all seem to average around 20-21. I drive 17000 miles a year so I do my share and if I'm spending 40K or more on a car what the hell does it matter if I get 15-16mpg...
The whole gas thing I don't get when you get into this price range. My lexus gs 350 averages 18 mpg with a fair mix of highway/city. My old 2013 S4 averaged 19mpg.
My next car is either going to be a truck or a used lexus and then a side toy of a camaro, mustange, challenger etc... Given how...
Just upgraded from a 5 to a 6S+. Frankly I'm only 5'9 and my hands are far from huge but I don't see how the 6S+ is deemed to big. I rarely use any phone one handed but even now I can still use my 6S+ one handed. If it's about pocket space that I don't get because frankly it's only slightly...
Basically this. I don't care to choose music in advance (it's only 8 gigs) so I sync it all locally.
I ended up with the 128 gig iPhone 6S Plus from BB. $250 gift card which I guess I'll use on a new sonos addition.
These days the difference in price between the 64gig and 128gig - just seems no point to not go big. Besides it sucks to have a phone hit the limit where you have to delete photos or music or apps etc...
Considering how long I kept the last phone and the fact I can see myself putting movies on this for the plane or business travel, I figured I'd go larger. The difference is so little and I expect I'll hold on this for a decent time. but your right the largest I'll probably his is like 50-60 gig.
So I'm due for a phone upgrade by far. I'm running a 5 and I've never had a phone more than 1 year. I'm going to pick up a 6S PLus this week but I'm debating where. I'll probably just got for the 128gig at this point and with it being black Friday I'm debating where to go. I usually hate this...
Apparently they were demanding they remove the fee to delete account information. That's been done today in a article this morning.

Penn State in state is around $30k a year now. I agree Ivy league is insane unless parents are paying but frankly even state schools have gotten out of control. We are reaching a tipping point where it's better to not attend college then attend.
Hopefully higher education will be massively reformed by then and it won't be the issue it is now.
Honestly college education and businesses that have helped drive the trends in education have gotten so out of control that going for a bachelors in many cases is almost insane these days...
