Best setup for Pagefile in XP Home

Thank you, What I've done is go with what XP set on my master Drive min 768, max 1500 somthing, and on my slave drive I set it to min 300, max 768, I understand that XP will use the pagefile on the non boot drive first. Is this true? Again, Thank you. Jim

Thank you, I did a install over old drivers, had no problems. One thing I did, was to cancel when it wanted to install the new IDE drivers, because I've seen only bad things about them. Jim

Video card died need a dx9 card for about 150 bucks.

Hi, Over at NewEgg.com under refurbished, they have several 9700 PRO card for sale. With a 15 day return thing, prices are around $140.00 to $160.00 range. The reason I know this is because, I got one last week, I think I read the same reviews, it's a good card to go with now. I may be wrong...

Same, 9700 PRO will be around $180.00, 5900 is going to be higher, and I'm not sure why, just because its newer but not much more faster, also look at 5700

About the BIOS update, I used the Flash method from a floppy, it was easy, and fast, but yes very scary. I have noticed a jump in system speed, and nothing unstable. I want from 1003 to 1007. Thank you Jim
