Graphics card problem ??

Heh heh, that sounds like a good idea ;-) Probs last updated the bios about 4/5 months ago, but will have a look if thats a more recent update. Cheers for point out the blindingly obvious :o) will let you know how it goes.

new cpu, new mobo, new psu, new mem... same problem

19" monitor, which one (around £350)

I was thinking of the 451 Pro, but was worried I'd being spending more money for the sake of onboard speakers & USB hub which I don't need. Is the 451 PRo still a better monitor than the 452 ?

PC games just arent fun anymore...

Been playing games since the BBC-b. Still love them, some better than others. Am finding that I need to play on-line games to keep them interesting though. but as long as games Deus Ex and Op. Flashpoint are being made I think I'll go on enjoying PC games for along time to come. And why, oh...

Beat GTA 3 but i have some questions please !!

I am still only on the second island (about 1/2 missions away fromt he 3rd) and I've got over 50% completed. Not sure about the rampage missions, haven't paided much attention to them yet. As for the jumps, I've done about 8 of them, found about 6 on the first Island, but quite hard to discribe...

Stuck on GTA 3...some advice needed :)

Oh, while we are on this topic, I'm stuck on one of the Rasta Missions on the middle island. Its the one with the spanked up madmen (you have to drive to a carpark, get in the car in the middle then a load of vans turn up (one in each corner) and blokes get out with explosives, run towards you...

You're on the right track, you have to lob a grenade through the window (but you have to get it straight through the window) When you do, the garage below will open, and I think he'll try and escape in a car if I remember rightly. So you need to blow up the car, I found a good way of managing...

Are Lian Li cases worth the expense?

Lian-Li Power Button and Noise

1)I got a PC-60 about a month ago (in the UK), it had the raised power button if thats any help. 2)Got no idea about the PC-7. 3)The fans which came with mine where YS-Tech I think, quite quiet but I replaced them with Sunon ones anyway. Hope this helps.

Globalwin CAK38 or WBK38?

I use a CAK32, good HS, made out of one piece copper with soldered fins for better conductivity, but is a tad on the heavy side. I move my PC around alot though so it is a bit of a worry, I'll let you know when it falls off and trashes the graphics card..... If you do order one my advice is...

New Case

Yeah, yeah. £200 abit steep for a case, but its so shinny :) Had a quick look on scan, Lian-Li PC-68 looks goos, so does the scan one (but again abit expensive I guess). Any idea if the front USB ports are compatible with a KT-7A motherboard ? I heard that the coolmaster cases aren't. Oh yeah...

New Case

Alright, I'm in the process of looking for a new case to house my 1.4GHz AMD cos its running alittle hot at the moment (48 C). Reason I want a new case is I brought a cheap one a year back with the PSU mounted vertically, so at the moment I have about 2mm clearance between the top of my HSF...

50 Celsius NOT OC'd !? Reason win2k is hanging?

Not sure that the temp would be the reason for lock-ups. I'm runnning a 1.4 at 55 C - 60 C and haven't had any problems. Not an ideal temp, so I'm looking to reduce it, but the system is stable.
