Best OS for Seti crunching?

<< Win 98/ME are a no because they don't handle VLARs good. If you need to use Windows, Windows 2k is the choice but I've heard that the windows client runs faster when run in WINE in Linux. (pretty sure) >> That is good advise..perhaps all TA members will pour Wine into their machines to...

DSLR does 50K Units: Race Half Over!

Bandai is staying..In the forums he is known as MK01 for those who visit. He may not keep hold of all those PC's indefinetely, but for the time being he is certainly our Warp drive. I'm a bit miffed myself. I moved recently and so sold a lot of PC stuff..actually 23 systems I had built for...

Speaking of real DIMWITS

I would like to thank the members of TA that have visited DSLR and strenuously advised nGearX to ensure he gets persmission BEFORE installing the client on any machines he doesn't own. Of course I would love to see him add a few thou units a day to our total, however I think the wider picture...

There where several posts regarding the challenge of the Race..I would agree that DougFowler made first mention of it..then both teams seemed to take it as read that a challenge had been issued..by who is actually irrelevent. Smokeball, I think you making it look as if it is an issue for DSLR...
