***CONFIRMED*** APPLE MOVES TO INTEL - X86!

Yeah, Apple's current market share just won't cut it. This is a slap in Bill's face. Let's face it, we all stuck with MS cuz of the cheap hw. Well, at least in my case. Heck, I would love to use OX instead of this old crap. This is great, cheap Dells and OSX. what a combo. :D

1680x1050 resolution issue on laptop

Sorry, that was a typo. got confused with all the different resolutions. The native is 1680x1050 native. Anyway, still playing around with this. I just can't deal with 96dpi. It's too small. Tried cleartype and may just have to go with Firefox....if all else fails I'm returning...

Thanks!!! I actually tried 100 dpi and it's actually acceptable. Much more comfortable to look at then 96dpi I did find some utilities that supposely adjust the different elements but they don't work well.

I wish I knew about this problem before I bought. I may have stayed with 1280x800 display instead. Didn't realize I would encounter this problem. Is there somekind tweak for this?

Finally moved up to the nice UWGA+ LCD but noticed one issue. I find the default text size a bit too small on 1680x1050 display on my Inspiron 6000 laptop. So, decided to increased the font size to 120 dpi. Noticed the increased in font size causes jpegs on websites to become blurry...

Ghosting and windows 2k3 product ID

I am using a single image for many servers. How do you go about changing the product ID on the clone machines after it's restored? Are other "ID's" I shoud look out for besides install product ID? I presume when an OS installed it identifies the machine by several sources. I'm not...

Hi Blue, What's the quickest way to configure this thing to run thru a series of test and generate a report at the end? Play around with it and still could not figure it out. Not sure if it even supports reporting part. Thanks.

I checked it out. Looks like Antemedia is more reasonable so mine is going to be a small shop. Smartlaunch is very costly and not sure if I need all those features.

Those were the exact information I was looking for. I had no clue I had meet building codes. I guess that's what happens when a network guy cross line to cable installations - clue less. Now, how would I select a subcontractor for jobs like this? Certification requirements?

Wiring an office with Cat6 & Phone Cabling

I got a newbie quesiton. What is the easiest way to secure down a 19" rack. Do you just screw it down to the floor. I see this as being difficult to do if the floor is concrete or could potentially do a lot damage to the floor.
