I've noticed this too, just sort all Intel processors by price and you will be scratching your head for sure. I guess newegg figures a fair number of people will buy something in their price range without much research. You can often find a few reviews on such processors that were posted...
Speaking of the Fishers Indiana store AKA Indianapolis, do they share pricing with any of the other Fry's consistently? I can check the ad online from the Texas and California stores and maybe even Illinois but not the Indiana store. Sometimes the price from area to area differs.

I use tomato and have WDS set up with 2 routers and my XBox 360 is wired into the second one (not the one plugged into the cable modem.) Works very well, even with TVersity running on a wireless desktop. Don't know about bridging with the stock firmware. I used the instructions here.
