    Are you serious? 80% of restrooms are trashed or disgusting. Would you feel comfortable sitting in your restroom at work and eating your lunch or dinner? FYI, my wife works in retail 10 hr shifts so my opinion might be slightly biased :).

    I fail to see how the customer is considered lazy here. OP you are an employee who is getting paid to collect the carts. I am not leaving my 2 year old in the car alone to take the cart back. If my wife is with me I will do it as a favor.

    Employer has started to offer roth401k. They match up to 7% (dollar/dollar) and I believe both roth and regular 401k get the match. so which one do you do? I am leaning towards doing 50/50 since earnings on roth are tax free.

    I don't think it is a cultural thing. I am indian and so are wife and in-laws. But my father-in-law is so cheap that he asked us to pay for ice-cream when he took us all out for ice-cream. On top of that he(FIL) has borrowed some 20k plus from my wife (before we met) to start a business...

    It is liquid because some of it will be re-invested once market stabilizes a little. Half of 90k is rainy day fund that was increased to cover up to a year instead of standard 6 moths. I guarantee you I am not the only one holding on to cash right now.
