I knew I had seen that user on my cache before. Here is a post I made from February 2002 - the last time I saw him: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,2582222~mode=flat?hilite=kermit

Well in any event I have faith that Berkeley will take care of things. If it turns out the guy is legit then that's fine...But like you said...Why bother connecting to a strangers setiqueue?
I am going to do some digging in some old posts I made at BBR. If I remember correctly, I think I have...
Well to keep you informed, I actually already have received a response from David Anderson. He said they were going to investigate it...
That sure was quick! A reply within a few hours! Hopefully they will be able to take care of it...

Hello friends...
I just wanted to pass along that it appears there is what might be a cheater once again connecting to public SetiQueues.
The only proof I have is based on their stats:
775,445 results with 84 days of CPU time, and an average WU time of under 6 hours as shown here...
FutureMan-AT is now a member of the TeAm. Sometime overnight my first WU should be credited to your team as it is crunching away at it right now. Crazee; that's your Cue...;)

LOL!
We will never concede. Win or lose, it's to the end baby!
How have you guys been faring with the Berkeley slowdown? Last night they finally opened up their pipes and we had over 3200 WU's sent in...From my cache alone...

I do not see that as a blatant recruiting thread. I made no mention of a race.
I see that as someone offering a service that is available to those members of a site who participate on a team, a free service to keep them crunching. My service has never nor will ever be available to non-team...
Hey aiex,
what's the matter? Got nothing better to do than hijack your opponents recruiting attempts?
Very bad taste IMHO and I have notified the race Ambassador. This makes your teams second offense of hijacking our recruiting attempts.

Hidy Ho AnandTech...
Just wanted to let you know that the DLSR thread mentioned in the first post of this thread has been locked. It may or may not be opened again tomorrow after people have had a chance to calm down. If you feel like taking off your gloves, just stick your hands in your...

it's gonna be interesting when it does come back up thats for sure!

As a representative of TeamDSLR, I was fully up front with your entire team by giving you the link to our cache and telling you that there were problems in the first place in your own forum. Now, had I not bothered to tell you then perhaps you'd have a reason to complain.
And, NO the...
Races will come and races will go.
Berkeley is the winner. That is the real point.
And like one of your esteemed members has said, it proves to be a tremendous boost in all teams production involved.
