unable to change monitor settings?

Ok I tried doing what you told me again (in between child care) and it worked this time thank you so much everthing looks so much better now! Everything was a little fuzzy before now its clear and sharp wow!! Thanks bunches and gobs!:D

ok new at this where/what is the device manager? Wait I found it did what you said to do and when it rebooted found the drivers on its own, still same problem no change I think I will try again.

I think something is wrong I just built my first system but now when I go to settings for the monitor iI cannot get the screen saver to work and worse I just downloaded flight simulator and it won't play because I have to have 16bit color enabled. I have a radeon 7500 installed and a 8kha ddr...

darnit well I did that in the bios menu and it still gives me a boot disk failure rrrrrrr I wonder what it is I keep trying do you think I hooked something up wrong I put the cables master to hard drive and slave to the cdrw. I think in the power or advanced manangment setup I changed it to...

I think I must have went pas that now it won't go back when I hit delete. Its stuck in the insert disk. oh woops ok I got it back to bios lets see what happens now.

8hka+ board, athlon 1.4, radeon 7500, ddr ram, hsf all seems ago accept. I think I got through bios not sure then it says instert disk and hit enter. But when I do it says it cannot find somethings wrong, help! I can't understand how the system could read from a cd drive without installing...

Ok so before I went and bought a new motherboard I swapped out the radeon7500 with a verto tnt2-m64 32mn sdram card but same problem. I have never ever built a system before so I am now thinking this is me. I unplugged everything reset cmos just in case still no go checked to make sure...

well I have the enhance 300 watt and I used arctic silver and tried using one stick of ram and reseated it and the video card and still nothing I have a tiny little speaker in the case that is hooked up but its not working changed the plug around thought well maybe its back wards but nada and...

Hey what about this one IWILL XP333 ALi MAGiK 1 Duron/ Athlon/ Athlon XP DDR 266/200 MHz Socket A ATX MOTHERBOARD I am so worried that I am going to get a bum board and have serious nightmares.

Oh nooo what should I do? Should I get a different video card? If so what is decent or should I say will work? Or maybe I should get a different board I already have a 1.4 266fsb chip and ddr ram what should I do?

sorry ok I have an ecs K7S5A board, with a 1.4 chip and a radeon 7500 graphics card all the fans are spinning and the lights are lit on the front panels and keyboard the only glitch other than no monitor so far is that the power switch in the front doesn't shut the computer off I have to do it...

Ok so I installed the board, ram cpu, hsf and a video card via the instruction book but nothing on the monitor don't I need a monitor to start so I can see if the cpu and ram are recognized? I rechecked everything I don't know what to do now.:(
