My $50 rebate on the 160 took about 6 weeks. I didn't have to fight for it just wait patiently. A week or so after submiting itI did get a confirmation email that they had accepted the rebate and were processing it. Overall it was pretty painless.

Sorry but I disagree. I'm in the business and, believe me, too many inquiries will lower your score. What is too many? That number depends on other factors but you don't want vendor pulls for no reason.

I can verify this disk sucks in RAID0 and seagate even confirmed it.... I've got a 160 GB raid Array with them and my Sandra scores stink. It rates slower than a single 7200 RPM drive. (they are really quiet though)
I'm putting together a cheap computer for my kids using the barbie/"Burbie":o case. It's based on an intel 810 MB. When powering on I just get a seroes or repeating three beeps. The intel manual says that means "First 64 KB Memory Failure". Is this refering to the SIMM or some other memory?
