Works for me... So does http://progressive1.stream.aol.com/wb/gl/wbonline/progressive/thematrix/us/med/animatrixlgfinal_dl.mov. Just right click on the link and choose "Save Target As..."
I tried Instant Copy the other day and I wasn't impressed with the quality of the movie, because it doesn't spend much time on reencoding it. I can only assume that it just does one CBR (Constant Bit Rate) pass, so that it is fast. I was impressed with the idea of being able to keep all of the...
LOL... Take two of those plastic rails that are attached to the bottom inside the case and screw them to each side of the drive and slide it into one of the 5 1/4" bays until you hear it click. Couldn't be any easier.
This deal is a no-go at the Fry's in Wilsonville, Oregon. They had a rack full of them with a sign saying $250 after a $100 mail-in rebate. I was going to ask one of the managers about it to see if I could get the same deal as the one advertised at the other Fry's Electronics stores, but they...
Does it say when this deal is over or is it just while supplies last? I can't go pick one up until like Monday, so I need to know.
Are there any other deals on this 200GB hard drive right now? I'd be willing to pay $200 AR for it.
A surge master? I have surge master connected to my TV, but I spent like $50 on that one. Wal-Mart really has some for only $14? I'll have to stop by there.
Does anyone know of a good surge protector that is relatively inexpensive? I want a good one, but I don't want to spend a lot of money. Any good deals on the internet?
BTW, I'll be using this to protect a computer, monitor, printer, and etc....
A bunch more of you guys bought one... Now, can any of you tell me about the built-in firewall in this thing? I'm going to be driving by CompUSA later on today, so I need to decide if this router is worth getting.
Oh... That is what he meant. I didn't understand what he was trying to say and that is why I ignored it in my last post.
BTW, I'm the one that mentioned Portland and Vancouver. ;)
How does the firewall work in these routers? Can you login to them via a web page and open/close ports? Can you just disable it all together?
I already have two 8 port switches, so I just want a cheap router that either allows you to change the settings or just doesn't have a firewall at all.
In a thread discussing the Onkyo HT-S650 HTIB on the General Hardware forum, RanDum72 proposed that the Polk RM6000 speakers + Onkyo TX-SR500 receiver would be a better bang for buck than the Onkyo HT-S650 HTIB if purchased at Crutchfield.
Right now Crutchfield is offering the following deal...
I have an X-Box, but I haven't heard of the HD Pak you are reffering to. I'll have to look into that.
No, I didn't purchase an extended service plan. I thought long and hard about it... I figured since the only time anything like a TV or VCR has ever died on me was when I was wanting to get rid...
If I were to build a system similar to yours, codehack2, how much more would it cost me exactly? Have prices come down any since you built your system? Any good deals around? The TV was a big investment, so I don't want it to have weak surround sound.
Depending on how things are after...
Right now, I have the Creative MegaWorks 510D hooked up to my computer. On review sites they rate them equal to Klipsch's ProMedia 5.1. That is actually why I bought them.
I've thought about hooking these up to my TV, but I think it would just be too much work. It doesn't use standard speaker...
Yes, it is kind of narrow. I just measured it to make sure my estimates were right. It is actually about 10' x 25'. I was off a bit, but darn close. :)
Nope, it isn't a dorm room--it's my bed room!
