I have two of these in my computer. One in my PSU and another on my gc-68 cooling my chip. My computer is super quiet. The cput temps are a bit high ( around 60C) but I've been running this machine almost 24/7 for the last 3 months under this setup and it's been rock solid.
Mac Mall and PC Mall both have sandisk 256mb SD cards for $79.99 after a $30 rebate. If you buy before 11:59PST tonight (12/26) they offer free shipping after rebate. Shipping runs $9.96 for UPS Ground. Some people may not like having to deal with so many rebates but this is a great price if...
I got my order a week ago and I found out while trying to install them that my 10" floppy cable is too short. Anyone want a single round floppy cable for $4 shipped? PM me if interested.
Staples carries this case with a 300W Antec Smart PSU for only $61.99. Confidering their free shipping I think this is a great deal. Combining it with any coupons you can come up with makes the price even hotter. I'm still thinking about getting this. Hey Krueger81.....where are those pics...
I've been running my XP1700+ for the last week under constant load (SETI), 24hrs a day with temps around 55-59 degrees. Hasn't crashed yet and I don't expect it to so don't worry so much about your temps. I only have two fans in my system; a PanafloL1A on my SVC GC68 and a PC&C Silencer in my...
If anyone is looking for a great deal online for a charger/battery kit, there is a GP (well-known brand in the Nimh battery business) one available from Thomas Distributing. It's not a rapid charger (who really needs batteries in 5 hrs anyways, just plan ahead) but it does have automatic...
If anyone still has a 10% off one-time use coupon that amazon recently emailed out then this will be a really hot deal. Too bad I used it already last week on another order.
Not as hot as the Nikon Coolpix 800 deal but still a great price for a compact, 1.3MP, 2x optical zoom digital camera.

I've put a Panaflo L1A on my FOP32 cooling a Duron 600@900 in the past and it worked fine. I don't recall the temps but I do remember them being a bit higher than normal. I didn't care because my computer was almost silent.

How much were the battery packs on the clearance table for the 6300 series? OD had these clearanced a while ago and thye could be had for around $15 after rebate. They would probably be very hard to come by now.
I've asked the same question before and everyone seemed to agree that it would be enough if you aren't overclocking. I decided to go with a gc68 and a L1a for my xp1700+ since it was cheaper.
Can anyone please tell me what this means and how I fix it? I looked in the event log and this is what it says whenever my computer reboots itself.
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000c2 (0x00000043, 0x80000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in...
Seagate Barracuda IV hd's are by far the quietest out there. As far as a quiet power supply, just sway out the fan for a quieter one. I replaced the on my antec ps with a silencer. It's a pretty easy procedure. I followed the instructions I fould here on anandtech.
The thing is I just bought a new Seagate Barracuda IV hard drive and the damn thing is completely silent. That's why I want to put a L1A on the chip so badly. I'll take quiet over slightly high temp anyday. Thanks for all the help.
Thanks for all the input. I was under the impression that 28dBa would be about twice the noise of the 21dBa L1A fan since the scale is logarithmic. I guess 2x the sound of a L1A is still pretty damn quiet. Off to case-mod.com to get my GC68.
Will this be enough to cool my non-oc'ed XP1700+? I asked about the L1A and SK6 earlier but read about how great this cooler. Since it's 10 bucks cheaper, I feel compelled to give this one a chance. Any opinions? If anyone has the same setup could you please provide some temps? Thanks.
