win xp: cannot find rundll32.exe

Please help me! I have zonealarm antivirus installed. When I turn on the computer today, ZA tells me that it finds 4 worm virus, ask me if I want to delete them. I clicked yes without looking in details (so i don;t knwo which files are deleted). Then it reboots the computer. the bad thing...

The problem is I am in canada, I will go to Niagara Falls this weekend. I hope I can buy it from Wal-Mart in Niagara Falls. newegg doesn't ship to canada.

Speed slower with Router?

I am using Rogers cable modem, without the router, I can get 2.5/2.6Mbits, but if I put my computer behind a SMC WABR7004 wireless route (use network cable, not wireless), the speed is 900Kbits per second. That is way slow.... Anyone have the same router? or SMC router?

My friend told the the T40 (2373 72U, extra 6 cell battery, extea AC adapter and a carrying bag) is on sale on Canadian EPP site: CAD $2499, I think it is a good deal - cheaper than US$1911.

This is my second machine... I got my first R40 at the begining of May, however, after 2 days uses, the LCD just didn't light, it worked fine if I connect a external monitor. So I called IBM and get a replacement.... unfortunately, the replacement is still no good, if I move the machine little...

Hi, I remember I saw a T30 owner can hide his wireless pc card inside his T30, I am wondering if this can be done in my R40? Right now, 1/4 part is outside of my R40, it looks ugly. Thanks

Thanks! I called IBM, they will send me a recovery cd (set of 4 cds). Windows XP is inside the recovery CDs. BTW, I checked the back of my thinkpad, it prints Windows XP Professional 1-2CPU, so it means I can install the XP from the recovery CD to my desktop?

Hi, I just received my R40, however I didn't find Windows XP professional CD in the package, and in Windows, I only see there is only one hard disk, which only has 15G... the machine states it has a 20G disk. so, my question is: the invisiable 5G actually stores the XP? or something wrong with...

IBM thinkpad R40

I need to buy a wireless pc card/card bus for it. Here in Canada, I can buy a 11M SMC PC Card for CAD$50 (USD $33) or 22M SMC Cardbus CAD $55 AR (USD $35), so my question is, is this R40 supports Cardbus? if it doesn't can I use the Cardbus in the PC Card slot? Thanks
