I saw this ad for the t68 in this Sunday's newspaper. The price after rebates is $149.99. It looks like the phone must be activated on Voicestream/T-Mobile to get the rebates. BTW, Voicestream/T-Mobile is launching service today in California using Cingular's network...
This may be a sign. They also have some other bundles which would seem to indicate a pricedrop.

While I was at lunch today, I decided to stop in at Wards to see if there were any "Hot Deals".
The only thing I could find was the Sony SVR-2000 for $319.99

This was the EAGLE ROCK store and they probably had about 10-15 left.
The Glendale, CA store still had two of the WR8000 radios last night. They are in "lock-up".
I will also trade a WR8000 for a BAR-888.

While at the Fry's store in Burbank, I ran into a stack of these for $499 (right inside the front door). They are usually $599 at all of the other B&M stores.
