ptjoshua-in my experience grainy textures, all things being equal means that your gamma needs adjustin', could be why the princeton faired so much worse in your color testing.
The 20" Sceptre is still up if this one dies somehow, similar specs (contrast ratio is a bit subjective according to...
Looks like they've got a May 10 - May 30 $20 rebate on this bringing it down to $299...
Doesn't seem bad for 800:1 contrast, otherwise seems similar to the BenQ others have mentioned...

Sweet, I keep getting great mouse deals on here. Bought my current iFeel MouseMan cheap too...
Is this thing comfortable. I don't really like the way the Mouseman's wheel is harder to spin than MS mice...The mouse itself is also slightly large and too tall for my hand and desk placement. How's...
You guys need a sticky for case cooling info...I'm having a hard time getting much on it...
Should I buy Panaflos or would this led variable fan be as quiet?
I've got an Antec SX1030b so should I fill all 4 fans slots? The led would look awesome though the front fan grill I think but I sleep...
Okay, got it in...The CNR card sold at NewEgg does work and without installing any new drivers on the nForce for future reference. To use it you plug your rear channel into the right plug on the card and the front channels plug into the Motherboard Plug...that had me for a few mins.
Hmm, thought I did a search for that one (or at least a ctrl-f) weird. . .anyway it was a modem riser which was there, not sound...oops.
After some more research stemming from the first link which nergee kindly lead me to It looks like CNR is an established standard. I decided to go with the...
After contacting tech support, scouring the net several times and double checking the manual I have No idea where to obtain the "Optional" CNR riser card for the MSI nForce 420D Pro (? possibly the same as 415D). It's killing me that I have awesome sound hardware sitting powered up right now and...

How're the Color PDAs for ebook reading...I'd love to get something to browse Project Gutenburg stuff afk. Does ClearType work as well as on the full blown LCDs...is the contrast good enough for bulk reading?
I'm having the same issue that this guy had. One of my procs burnt (I think) but I went and got another proc in and it is still doing it.
To be fried do processors have to be cracked? Is it possible that testing it in another mobo might burn the new mobo/psu?
Does the power supply have a fuse...
Thanks for the help (and understanding of the situation) people...guess I'm just gonna sink the cash again so I can get my almost-finshed box back up dispite the letdown and try to work on Monarch CS for the processor warranty.
Anandtech rocks :) All the hot deals I found here probably covered...
I thought that AMD retail processor warrantys covered overheats... am I wrong?
What else can go wrong with a proccessor exactly excepting heat problems?
<<however if you pester them enough, they will either give it to you, or issue a restraining order. Whats the worst that can happen?
What...
Okay, the otherday somehow I overlooked the fact that one of the clips had worked it's way off in the laborious process of putting the other on (for the Huge Volcano 7 with a powersupply in the way). Power on---whats that smell!?!? DAMN!
I bought the 1800+ OEM processor from MonarchComputer...
Awesome deal, I got one of these on the cheap somewhere a few years back...the game is awesome, the expansions provide great maps and the strategy guide is huge. Online 3rd party units are always fun...bit harder to find now though...luckily I had em on an old pc. Worth every penny...
For some...
Looking for a good deal on a 330w or better good looking case/ps...up to about $110 range
Also looking for a good proc fan/heatsink....stupid me waited too long and missed the Alpha for $30 deal.
Wow, blazing fast service for a blazing hot* deal (at least in OH)
I got mine 18 hours after I placed the order yesterday afternoon. This thing is not on backorder, maybe only in certain regions.
Thanks for informing me about the RAID thing, I'll keep that in mind.
* After MIR
Wow monarch has the same prices as NewEgg with the 3yr warrenty. Whats up with the 1600+ being less than the 1500+ though?
I'm debating what to get...Go for the 1600+ now or wait for the 1700+ to come down when the 2000+ releases...anyone know when?
Geeze security on that site is pitiful, I clicked someones link and I'm in their account! Didn't go all the way to the end of the checkout to see if I could order without a credit card # but I could still see the address.
not to bash your deal but newegg has a lite-on for $96 + shipping and I think I recall hearing that I/O magic drives are horrible. The lite-on successfully competes with Plexors pretty well in benchmarking.
