From the product page at Altec Lancing: Satellites can be placed near monitor without disturbing images. Disturbing images? Does this mean that I won't be able to go to Rotten.com when the satellites are separated from the front speakers?

Not directly. However, if you set up some rules looking for specific "From" addresses you can have it pop up special messages or play special sounds when messages from that person comes in.

Anything Wrong with running 2 firewalls?

Running two firewalls is like wearing two condoms. Either way you might be better off making sure you've got one good method of protection instead of two questionable ones. Zonealarm should be fine as is.

Anyone know a good sound record program that will.....

Any audio recording program will allow you to capture as much audio as your hard drive and operating system will allow. I say operating system because IIRC any of the FAT-derived file systems have a 2-gig file size limit. Now, standard CD-quality WAV files shouldn't get too close to that 2-gig...

pointless to try to O/C an athy 1Gig ARGA?

If you are concerned about it being "pointless" then you shouldn't be overclocking in the first place. You have an Athlon 1 gig, for chrissakes. Now, if you are a REAL overclocker you'll just keep the side of your case open, get some loctite fluid, a pin, and a magnifying glass and lock those...

They don't need to release a chip of that speed yet. AMD's 1.4 gig chips are competitive with the Intel 2 gig chips.

What use is 1gb of RAM?

Stupid Blue Screen on Startup of Win2k, can't load "nv4_mini.sys"

I'm not sure if you are the real KeyserSoze but I'll answer anyway. That file appears to be part of the nVidia package of drivers, specifically the nVidia miniport driver. Go to nVidia's website and see if they have any reports on it. Otherwise, just reinstall your nVidia drivers.

Curious problem with Danya 16-port hub

Yeah, I've checked the NIC's and they're all good. And with the crossover cable going from the Linux firewall to the Windows PC working fine then that verifies that the Linux NIC is good. I cannot figure out why it won't accept a signal from the NIC to the hub...*grumble*. I just unplugged...
