network benchmarking and settings

how come whenever sites benchmark networking they dont include which settings?and what do all those settings like 32DWORDS do?I know what a DWORD is but is that like they send 32 16bits at once? windows when it is first set up defaults to 16DWORD I suppose that this is not the ideal setting?

it shouldnt be it actually turns people into dumbbutts look at the textbooks of 150 years ago on math,the stuff if scary as hell the amount of knowledge people were expected to know because everyone must goto school the requirments are greatly lowered for passing grades so that everyone can pass...
