Standard Deviation help needed

Lost worksheet...forgotten equations. :-/ I've got to work out the middle 50% of employees (2/3 of Standard Deviation) and the range of 95% of employees (2 standard deviations I think...) But i wanted to check: For 50% it's SD/3 * 2 For 95% it's SD *2 Right? Or is 95% *3? Thankful for any...

CO-5P drivers for Windows XP?

The ones on the floppy disk aren't working. Kinda need drivers to move around happily. Google search brings up no driver results...if anyone can find a Windows XP driver I'd appreciate it a lot. :) Cheers, ~Scutt Edit for clarification: It's a mouse by Packard Bell.

Help needed with Abit Siluro GF 4200

The drivers are not wanting to install (this is on Windows 2000). Both those from Abit and Nvidia don't seem to work. They get through to the last stage then give the error "file not found". I've not had this problem before on my Nvidia cards, so am not too sure what to do about it. Not sure...

What should I do to prepare for eating a lot at one time?

No cold/fizzy drinks. They make your stomach filled up more than non-cold still drinks...or at least I find that when I drink them.

How many hours do you sleep per day?

Depends, Summer is screwing with my body clock as I usually sleep 6am - 12pm now. During school time I'll get 6 hours or so, sometimes more, sometimes less. I'm far from having a good sleeping pattern... :(

Tv in...questions.

I've been reading various reviews of the ATi AIW 8500 card (both me and my dad are interested in TV in) as it seems like the best one around currently (I guess until the R300 AIW comes...?) and has hundreds of features... Anywhoo, I have a question regarding getting a TV signal in to the PC...

My family celebrate it, it's more than just the presents, it's meeting up with your family (as Bob said). Every year 1/2 my family or so all go to Centre Parcs where we meet up and spend a week together...for me this week with my family that I may only see once a year sometimes is worth much...

Im painting my room, what colors should i go with?!?!

Don't use white...I've been regretting it ever since I got my room. Green and yellow are nice colours for rooms, I also think peach is. :)

Help! Anyone got a quick answer for me?

Isn't the address book thing stored in the wab file in its directory? Surely you'd just copy that out? Might be worth a shot, and that way it's saved in a form which can just be pasted back on to his HDD... :)

Error when booting my IT7... :-/

Okay. Removed IDE devices and the RAM booted up can got further than usual, got an E1 error code. Looked that up in the manual to find it doesn't exist. Great. *rolls his eyes* Help...please. *Points shotgun in general direction of Jolly Potato (that's its name)*

Error when booting my IT7... :-/

Just installed Abit IT7 et all, booted her up (kinda) and the clock thing which shows where it's getting stuck at in the BIOS lights up and goes through the numbers... The last one before it dies is "C3" which according to the manual is "Expand compressed BIOS code to DRAM"...not sure really...

Can't attatch P4 HSF clip to motherboard...fingers very sore now. :-/

It's in! I was looking at the way it worked and saw that the plastic pins move in and out...so I popped 'em all out and placed the plastic thing in and it popped in to place. Put all the plastic pins back in to the wholes and whammo! It's all in. :D Time to go and install the P4 and the rest...

Not at all. My Dad is coming up to 50 and he plays games (which I think kicks ass :D), he played Halo with me, Unreal Tournament, Counter-Stike. Go for it. :)

That said I can go on until 5am without feeling it. I find late evenings much better if I want to do something (like web design etc). Possibly because everyone else is in bed and I can concentrate soley on doing what I want to do. :)

Question about locking the PCI/AGP cards. Does it affect the IDE slots as well?

Just a quickie... On the Abit IT7 when you lock the AGP/PCI slots, does it lock the IDE devices as well? I have a 60gxp which is basically a ticking timebomb and I'd rather not have it explode prematurely by overclocking the system. If the PCI lock keeps it nailed down then that's...

UT2003 demo leaked..is it a legit demo?

Apparently the leaked version has various bugs in and the graphics aren't that good (i've not got it, real demo is coming soon plus this 8mb card wouldn't play it if I tried). It's about 250 megs though if you're searching for a real one and not a virus though. Malbien and Not A N00b have it...

dont you hate it when you read something wrong on a test?

All the time, one that sticks out to me was in a business studies exam the question was "What are the advantges of remaining a sole trader". Because of the bit before that I'd skipped over it and read it as "What are the advantages of being a private limited company"...so I lost quite a few...

How many times a day do you _______??

Since subscribing my time here's gone down 4 fold. ;) It depends on the day, possibly an hour a day with quick checks to see if there's any thread to catch my eye. Usually it would be more but I'm in exams and revision so time is sparse. :)
