totally agree with OP; left lane is the FAST lane, not the speed limit lane. People don't know how to drive with common sense here. Go to Europe and see how they drive, it's a much more pleasant experience. There people only drive in left lane to pass, and you are pretty much free to go as...

ugh how i wish I could use metric units. our company uses all imperial units, but our vendors use metric, so it gets a bit fun at times. Invariably, whenever I have to run some analysis, I always convert to metric... so much easier

If someone finishes an exam in a ridiculously short amount of time, doesn't that just about always mean he or she failed

hahahahaah comedy. To respond to the OP, I don;t think it matters, it could go either way if you think about it. Either the person really knows their shit and hauled ass, or the person doesnt know shit and just did what they could. I almost always finished before everyone in my classes exams...

Anyone got the Tokina 12-24mm f/4?

I have this lens. Awesome lens. Only complaints I have are noisy AF motor and the clutch mechanism that is used to switch btw AF and MF is lame, you can't override AF with quick MF on this lens. Small price to pay for this awesome lens though.

It took 8 years, but finally my 1000th post!

#1 (lamppost): I like this alot minus the tree on the side. crop that out and it's damn good composition. maybe try saturating the blues a little more. #2: too much sky in this one, look up the rule of thirds. thats where yhe horizon should be near. sky is funny color too, maybe too...

#8 is my favorite. excellent composition and values. only suggestions I would have is to perhaps dodge the stained glass window on the left to get some of the detail in it (is there detail on the negative?) and crop the sides so that it is perfectly symmetric. Also, did you crop anything off...

true and true. great color saturation as well. only drawbacks are a clumsy clutch used to switch between AF and MF (no MF overide in AF mode) and a noisy AF motor.
