How can i have sound in DOS games in WinXP?

bacillus, thanks... this may be just what i need :) but, uh, how do I use it? the docs on the site is a bit sparse... it won't affect the sound and performance of my non-DOS games right?

which printer do you guys recommend for me to buy???

Mid-range Speakers for Audigy?

I'm not sure if the FPS1600 are all that good... try to find the older but better (i think) Cambridge FPS2000 Digital, or Altec Lansing ACS56. The Cambridge Inspire line is good too, I heard.

I've rediscovered my classic early 90's DOS games collections like Police Quest 1, Police Quest 2, Space Quest 1, Cyber Empires, XCOM 1, Star Control 2,... problem is, they don't play with any sound at all. How do i bring back the sound output in legacy games? I have an SB Live! X-gamer...

Capping bandwidth of clients on an XP shared dial-up?

i think powermax was able to fix it... it failed the 90-sec test the first time but passed it and the more comprehensive tests after i ran the advanced test/fix... thanks guys!

Athlon XP/Mohterboard Question.

yes. in fact, i think any Athlon/Duron chipset that supports 133 MHz FSB will be able to run the Athlon XP (probably with a BIOS flash). I'm sure that the VIA KT133A would be able to handle it, so probably all the Athlon DDR chipsets would too. but the ALi Magik 1 isn't really the best choice...
