I agree, go for G3 and forget G2. If I've understood correctly, G3 has a lot of new features current games don't support and we're gonna se cool stuff in the near future, which the old cards can't compete with...
Actually Verkkokauppa.com in Finland is selling Radeon 8500 for 1980 FIM. The cheapest TI200 is 1769FIM (Elsa) and the cheapest TI500 is 2879FIM. So go ATI... There are also about 100 people in the new Radeon order queue in verkkokauppa.com ...
ATI has several TV Wonder cards and they also seem to be quite cheap. I would go for ATI models. I however use my TV-Out for DIvX movie watching purposes. Here's the receipt: :)
