Curious, do memory manufacturers use the same or similar manufacturing processes that Intel and AMD use (lithography), and if so at what resolution (in microns)? With the recent spike in memory pricing, I am wondering if this is more gouging by the manufacturers then a real hardship...

Why are mainboards still so large?

Elledan, What exactly is your problem with the current mobo dimension? Are you seeking a smaller board for a smaller chasis? If so, try a micro-ATX board. Also, if you are looking for something specific and cannot find it, which lead to your original question ... How about telling us the reason...

multi-boot cd.

You should be able to use LILO to do this from a floppy. Why do you want to do this from a CDROM? Also, Why the W2K Pro/S/AS redundency? What would be more of a challenge is getting all of them installed on a live filesystem on one CD!

What is with MSN? Now... IE too?? Help

TRI BOOT of XP, 2k pro, and 98 se? NO!!!

I can do this on my Abit VT6X4 motherboard because I can select the default drive to boot (either HDD0, HDD1, HDD2, HDD3).

FTP Server on a router with a dynamic ip. How?

Your router is based on the SMC 7004BR product, which I am running. I have no problem using this Virtual Server setup in conjunction with my ADSL and non-static IP assignments. I am also running DHCP in the router, and my three PCs always wind up getting the same exact IPs from the router's DHCP...
