First PC build in nearly 5 years - no boot

apparently the PC was booting but my cpu fan just wasn't spinning. plugged into the system fan pins and it works. Guess the cpu fan pin header is busted :(

Question about high capacity (2GB) SD cards

should these larger (2gb) SD cards be formatted as FAT32 or regular FAT? when i stick it into my laptop's card reader, it prompts to me format, even though my camera worked fine with it. when I pick FAT32 and format, then my camera (casio EX S600) can't read it So then i format it as...

NEC 3520A is giving me headaches when trying to read burned DVDs...

The discs were burned and closed a few months ago using the same DVD-RW and have been used on other DVD players already. The drive that created these discs are now having problems reading them.

What can i use the YCbCr inputs for on my Olevia?

I'm using the YPbPr inputs on my 30" Olevia for my Xbox, using the HD pack, b/c the display is the same as a standard source using the YCbCr inputs, which won't display anything higher than 480i. Syntax has told me that I can't play a progressive source (480p) through the YCbCr. So why is...

thanks for the reply. i'm not much with a soldering iron, so i'll take my chances with cutting the usb cord so what'd i'd do is take a USB cord that connects to my PCI card's female connection, then cut the other end, exposing the wires and connect that to the pin header? I hope the USB...
