    Cheers, looks much better now. About PWM: It allows me to extensively adjust the fan profile with ASUS probe I never liked the idea of slowing down fans by heating up a resistor. I can seperately control the fan profiles from the processor and case fans. I think I'm going S-Flex.

    It will also depend on the BIOS options you use. Speedstep will reduce the multiplier to 12 at idle so that will reduce temps quite a lot. Fixed turbo will do the opposite. Mine is about 80C full load (lousy proc fan) and below 40C idle with speedstep on. That is at 3.8GHz with Coolermaster...
