    there's nothing funky about it... all you do is wire it differently which isn't difficult at all. for example (using car stereo equip), if you have 2 8ohm subs and a 2-channel amp, you can easily bridge the 2 channels together into a 4ohm mono load, instead of 8ohm stereo. this way you get twice...

    Not only XP, but 2000, ME, and 98se can all do this. boot off the cd and partition/format from within setup. only thing to keep in mind is if you do this from windows xp setup, it will automatically format any partition larger than 32gb in NTFS vs FAT32.     in all honesty, i would leave the rear 4x6's alone. speakers of that size don't produce enough midrange or umph for you to even notice. the highs may sound better, but no one really cares about rear-fill anyway. if you plan on sitting in the backseat alot, then go ahead and get some new ones...
