    I have the Taichi and the K7 currently. The Taichi is a much better board. The K7 won't even boot into Ubuntu. Can't say that I'm surprised really. There is always some catch when I try a gigabyte. Probably return it and get another ASrock.

    It bricked itself when overclocking. In my case, I used the AI Suite 5-way optimization (which is what I typically use as a baseline on Asus boards). Jay at JaysTwoCents appeared to be manually OCing from the video he put up.

    You can add my build to that list. Luckily I was able to exchange it for an ASRock at microcenter. If you get one and have to stick with it, leave the OC section at EFI defaults until Asus can get their thing together.

    I just upgraded to an XL2730Z from an Ultra-wide AOC Q2963pm. This thing is just as awesome as the reviews make it out to be. Although the AOC is IPS, I don't really notice that the BenQ is TN. Prolly one of the few, but I'd say get the XL.

    I would say yes. A LOT of people purchased these cards under the guise of mis-represented specs. Although the performance hasn't changed, the reality doesn't match the information that NV handed to reviewers. It's really nothing short of a bait and switch.
