Well, I got burned by this. In fact my power supply wouldn't even power up - the power supply fan failed to spin at all. I finally removed the 1 stick of RAM I'd installed and voila - the system came to life. After that everything was easy. Oh yeah, I had the same problem when I incorrectly...
