Opening a Gateway Profile 1

I need to replace a busted hard drive on a Gateway Profile but I am not sure how to open up the box. I have removed all the screws and tried prying it open but it doesn't want to budge. I could use more force but don't want to break it. Has anyone opened one of these without taking a hammer...

Find a copy of Norton system works and boot to it and run the disk utility. Have you tried booting in safe mode or to a dos prompt and running scandisk?
