CONFIGMG error on bootup and K7S5A

In windows98se I get a: "error initializing ...CONFIGMG ... system must be restarted" I restart, windows offers me there usual "you had problems booting up last time, boot normal, safe mode, etc." I choose normal, and everything works great! However, its still anoying that I have to reset...

AGP Aperture size with 256mb ram

I have the following system: k7s5a w/256mb ddr cas2.5 "ultra" timing setting radeon 8500 athlonxp 1600+ winxp AND win98se dual boot I wanted to know what AGP aperture size should (in theory) maximize my frame rates -thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks! Thats what I thought... BUT: I want to see if there is someone out there that can convince me to upgrade my k7s5a --> a KT266A board bare in mind: I will NOT overclock anything...

K7S5A --> KT266A MB ... Worth it?

I have a Radeon 8500 (retail) + athlon xp 1600 +k7s5a +256mb ddr (cas2.5m "ultra" timing in k7s5a bios) w/win98se AND winxp I am not getting close to Anand's scores in the games... I am wondering if the sis735 (at higher resolutions) --> kt266A will really make that much of a difference...

Optimal Settings for BH6 1.0 BIOS?

I have the SS Bios (latest I beleive) I would like to know what ALL the optimal settings are (my ram is pc133 2-2-2 set already running fine) But what about "sdram precharge control" enable/disable "spread spectrum modulated" "hdd blocking mode" and others like those above in the chipset...

Gainward Geforce2 Pro 450 (4.5ns) in Canada?

Celeron 700 --> P3 600E Costa Rica for $50?
