    What speed ram are you using? T40's use PC2100, but some later model mb's that are otherwise compatible need PC2700. It all depends on what model mb you've got.

    I don't know about their other tools, but Ridgid cordless drills are equal to or better than anything Makita or Dewalt are making now. I bought one a couple of years ago after getting frustrated with the name brands battery life and was surprised at the build quality.

    It's an Acer AL1923r. Bottom viewing angle looks great. I've got to tilt the monitor all the way back and get really low before it even starts darkening, no inverted colors here. I'm pretty sure it's an 8-bit, colors are miles better than my wifes TN.

    one thing to keep in mind, if you run crossfire on the asus(or any crossfire board AFAIK) you're gonna lose a pci slot, leaving you with 2 usable pci slots. you'll have to give up a pci device. a single x1800xt and A64x2 plus your 2gb ram should do Battlefield2 just fine

    OK, I thought you had a aftermarket cooler. just remove the card and look at it edgeways, see if the heatsink is sitting flat on the card, if not, gently twist the heatsink back and forth to seat it flat on the gpu. how long have you had the card, has it always done this?

    definitely sounds like a heat issue, make sure the heatsink is seated properly and has a good layer of thermal grease. you could also try rolling back the drivers to ver. 4.12, they seem to work as good as any on the older radeons.

    run A:atiflash -f -p 0 filename, the -f will force the bios flash BUT, make sure the bios is compatible with your card first, once you reboot its to late run A:atiflash -s 0 backup.rom first to save your old bios
