Just got a first gen Nintendo Wii. What now?

Xenoblade Chronicles is one of the greatest RPGs of the generation. Also, I like the light hearted shooting games like ghost squad, house of the dead 2 &3, and house of the dead overkill.

have one of those 8 inch winbook tablets 2gb/32gb baytrail, and a zenfone 2, so I guess you can call me a fan. The tablet is limited to browsing and videos and is completely adequate for that. the zenfone 2 4gb/64gb is the best smartphone out there. I can feel an obvious speed difference...

Have you sped up your upgrade cycle, slowed it down, or neither?

now let's see... 486 -> Pentium II -> Northwood -> Nahalem -> Skylake it'll probably take another 6 years before the CPU evolves to a significant improvement.

Please help me decide between I5 6600k and I7 6700k

10% hyperthreading advantage + 10% higher clock advantage + potentially higher overclock you're looking at around a 20% gain in performance going from i5 to i7. definitely worth it.

Mini-itx future build

i would actually consider maybe a higher wattage power supply if you're planning on a video card down the line. for that price, you can probably get a modular 500-650W gold or above PSU. also, on a mitx build, i know a lot of people prefer a fan inside the PSU to use as an extra exhaust fan.

Hi-end 6700K Build - Need CPU Cooler Advice!

The Corsair works fine without the software. I personally just have the pump directly connected to the PSU via a molex adapter, and use the motherboard fan control on my Asrock Fatal1ty to control the fan speed based on different CPU temp ranges. Just remember that since the fan is located...

Intel 6600K or 6700K for a new Gaming PC

I don't understand why there is so much fuss over how overpriced the 6700k is when prices are always sky high during the holiday season. Just wait 1-2 months if possible and prices will be back to October pricing. Same applies to the 980ti.

ITX CPU cooling (and case)

i know for Asrock MBs, you set the percentage for the voltage of the fan, so it is possible to go as low as 10%

Help picking out a 1151 socket motherboard

I'm currently using the asrock fatal1ty z170 mitx with 16gb ddr4 at 2666 and it seems to be working well. It has the integrated AC WiFi, bt 4.0 and m2 slot that you need. Decent OC in the bios.

How shameful is living at home for a man at what age?

ehh... i care more about whether someone has the means to move out at a certain age rather than whether they actually do. If you are making 120k/year, there is no shame in living at home because you know in your heart that you are capable of supporting yourself if you choose to.

Would've preferred google. unlike Amazon, Google allows content access given the presence of advertisements. Amazon is more likely to move to strictly subscription based service. Add to that, having Youtube as a simultaneous streaming AND archiving platform can provide a good amount of synergy...
