Logitech didn't have the right button configs for me, even if they do have dual triggers, I want 6 main buttons. If you like the P880 but want rumble, then they make a rumble version in the P2500. When it comes to controllers, it is just best to use them all in the store first.
Battery life is good, comes with two batteries. Very light and doesn't really even feel much different. The two "extra" buttons are just other buttons, everything is actually programmable with the software, each button can have two commands that the little red button turns on or off. The only...
Not sure if you have gotten one yet, but I just recently got the P1220 and am loving it so far. I had been set on the 2060u until I saw this one and it said it was the oem version of the 2060 (Actually some places say this is the same as the 2070, I don't think that is right. The user manual...
Yes, native res is already what my desktop has been. I am letting my GF use it until it goes back, she doesn't see anything wrong with it. I see a greenish/white ghosting around text, which just could be my eyes since I do have haloing problems with light and all. Never had an issue with any...
Maybe it is just my eyes, but the thing looks like crap to me. I currently have a silver theme and nothing looked even halfway decent. Text looked like it had some yellowish or greenish tint to it and hurt my eyes. I probably didn't mess with the settings enough, but I'm fine going back to...
The server is a bit slower than the main machine, plus I had to cut the ram in half. I think I might actually try hooking it up to my lan and seeing how it works on normal 10/100 instead of the crossover setup. Didn't know about the drivers part, will have to look into that.
Made my second call today and was put on hold for a few minutes, lady came back and said it shipped on the 14th and was scheduled for delivery tomorrow on the 17th via fedex. Has anyone who received theirs tried to return it yet and seen how they are handling them?

GF just let me...
I've tried 256 color mode, but with the vnc programs it never sticks and always bumps it up. lag has never been an issue and get 36MB/s transfer rates when copying files around. I use the machine to do video editing (encoding) and burning so that my main computer isn't being tied up, so it...
I've yet to find a good remote desktop program to use just at home. I have tried realvnc, tightvnc and pcanywhere and it is all laggy as well, and this is over a gigabit connection with no encryption.
18 minutes on hold for them to say they were still waiting for them to be shipped from the manufacturer, but he did say they were expecting them early this week, which probably means it will be another week.
I got the email on Friday or Saturday. I had emailed them three times and finally got a reply. Will probably give them a call today and see what is actually going on.
Finally got a reply when asking about the status of mine, ordered at 9am on the 7th:

Now here's the big question for those of you that own this, how horrible do games look at 1024x768? My video card wouldn't be able to handle the default resolution very well in most games i'm afraid.
I had thought about getting this one, but I don't like the idea of only 1 year of warranty. The reviews on newegg are all favorable. I'm probably going to wait until planar gets back into the game with another good monitor and great replacement policies.
Any idea if these are branded? I bought 400 TDK's a while back that were branded and I love them, but haven't been able to find them again. Seems most places just don't sell decently priced bulk branded CDR's anymore...that I can find anyway.
Epox makes boards with dual onboard raid, can run 12 devices at once without any kind of raid modes. I've got two of the 8K5A3+ boards myself, trying to get rid of one of them though.
Only place I've even found it listed so far is at http://www.censuspc.com and they are taking pre-orders (To arrive at the end of this month or early next month). I emailed and asked if I could cancel the order if I changed my mind while waiting and they said it would be fine and they won't...
