Battery Issue

I will keep that in mind. Ill see if I can come up with some way to keep the leads connected while I disconnect the battery. Im fairly sure I can rule out the alternator, Ive taken the car on few ~100 trips and have had no issues.

I do but I couldn't find where the grounding strap ended so I wasn't able to remove it without just removing the ground, or at least I wasn't seeing how to do it.

I just came back from having it tested at local friendly shop (no charge) and the load tester showed it as being good. And after driving around for a few bit (a few stops) the battery seems fine, this is all after being completely dead a few hours ago. I don't think its the original battery...

A good hard drive will probably last several years but anything with moving parts is just that much more likely to fail and there isn't really any way to predict when, its just a game of odds. SSDs biggest advantage is the inherently more reliable nature of "sold state". Anyway, it sounds...

Why not? Anything with moving parts is going to experience wear, a SSD as long as the firmware is solid (Intel & Samsung) and the drive isnt getting excessive writes day in and day out it should last damn near forever. Your right a HD for the OS and programs would still be a better deal but...

SSD would only be for the enhanced reliability factor (no moving parts). Its not really a need but I like having separate drives for OS, programs and another drive for data storage and given the high prices of HDs a SSD just seemed like a good idea.

Yeah I kinda forgot about the pixel orbiting technology but I don’t think that’s it. The best way I can describe it is a real light version of the analog fuzz you got over a less than perfect analog over the air TV signal.

Well this all started when I got a LED LCD Viera for my grandparents (free shipping with Amazon Prime and all), pretty impressive display. I had just assumed the ST30 was the set with 3D which I don't care about, I wasn't aware that the panels are that different. Seems like thats the way to go.

The Juniper is for sure overkill. Right now the IP camera server is running Windows 7 which is the machine we need VPN access too but I could switch it over to Windows Server as we are still evaluating software packages for the cameras. Perhaps that’s the best way to go?
