Seriously. So basically we've got the z540's for 4.1 at 40 watts, then the z640's for 5.1 at 51 watts, and then the z560's for 4.1 and THX certified with 400 watts, and finally the z680's for 5.1, with a lot better stuff all around. A strange numbering system, but I think I get it now.

Had a look at the guts of the 4400. Dunce11r is right, there is a plastic vent that covers the heatsink on the CPU like a funnel and connects to the very quiet exhaust fan that is on the back of the case. The PSU has only one quiet fan in it and there seems to be fins of a heatsink in the PSU...

If you replace the fan in the PS, how do you know it's doing an adequate job. I mean, no sensors or anything to tell you how the PS is doing. Or do the fans mainly exhaust the case air? I'm thinking about doing this in my Enermax 365P-VE (FCA).

Ok, problem solved. I tried swapping drives and couldn't get the WD to come up on my other system, but could get a Maxtor that was from the other system to come up on the KR7A, even on IDE 3 or 4. So I tried making the WD a slave under the Maxtor, and that was fine, but still couldn't get it...
