    If its a shuttle m/b go and get the correct bios and reflash. This may or may not work but worth a shot. Shuttle FTP site ALL motherboards listed select bios then model #

    In your bios there is a setting to turn on SATA. This must be selected as well.

    Weird hard drive/motherboard issue

    Its possible the customer has a dirty line. Does the customer use a protected powerstrip or UPS? Should still work after bringing it back to the shop tho.. Hmmmm Perhaps the drive cage isn't grounded to the case properly? Just trying to toss out ideas

    Memory, CPU, Video?? Uncertain, need help.

    All the eye candy on the desktop is timed. No matter how fast the cpu/video/ram is, it still works on a timer. I have a A64 3200 and a ATI 9700 Pro and still turn that stuff off :) This should help with that *slight delay* in games as well.

    You might try changing the nic speed from 100Mbps to 10Mbps half duplex and give that a try.

    Is there any pop's or hiss's from the monitor? Have you tried to disconnecting and reconnecting the monitor cable? I had a similar experience awhile back, the culprit was the ram had loosed in the socket.

    Windows wont see my SATA HDD!!

    I have a ABIT NF7S v2 and sata doesn't work on it unless both sata raid and sata/scsi is turned on in bios. Even tho I used just 1 Raptor. Worth a shot if you have not tried it already.

    Does anyone have suggestions for how to fix the "infinite loop" error with F@H on my computer?

    The best fix I've found to correct this issue is to lower the AGP speed. There is not a great deal of performance difference between 2X-8X. If your AGP speed is 8X lower to 4X, you *might* notice a drop of 2-3 FPS in games. Force aka Gundog

    Is the 36 gig on the second sata controller by itself? Disconnect the 36gig raptor and see if the problem goes away. Had a similar experience and it was the drive. Would write fast but reads were molasses then failed completely. As stevty2889 stated, hope those temps are F and not C ;)
